Europe LOVES the Obamas! I just hope their affection for our President will translate into their cooperation with the U.S. on various issues, i.e. war on terror or the global financial crisis.
Time will tell.

Bye Bye, Chrysler?

I just finished watching the President's press conference about the auto industry. If the American auto industry had been adjusting to the changing times, they would not be in this situation. Chrysler is going to fail and I don't think there is much that can be done about it. I viewed a list of top selling cars so far this year and foreign auto makers dominated the top spots. Apparently, Honda and Toyota make better cars and a funny thing happens - people buy them.

There are a lot of contributing factors to the auto industry having problems, like health care, but someone had to know that this was coming.

If you don't evolve you perish, and that's what happening to the American auto industry as we knew it.
